How GPayBack Works

In addition to the discounts for online shopping that are listed on their websites (example Amazon, Flipkart), we also give you an option of earning additional cashback on your online purchases. Stores that offer an additional cashback can be identified by looking at the PARTNERS page.
  • To earn the generated cashback, please ensure that you get redirected to the store only via the GPayBack link and make your purchase.
  • We will confirm the cashback within 2-3 days from your order date.
  • Once your purchase is completed, we usually update the cashback status and transfer the money within next few days.
  • If you receive our cashback and later cancelled the order, and this happens multiple times, we will be forced to block you from our website.
  • If any of your order gets cancelled, please contact us as soon as possible.
  • Once we receive final confirmation of the sale from the merchant your pending cashback is made available for you to use.
  • Cashback earned from GPayBack is your money and will be transferred via Google Pay transfer.
Note: The waiting period to receive cashback is less than 7 days now, it will change any time without any prior notice.
In some cases, the offers given to us by the store are only valid for a limited duration or until promotion lasts. When the offer reaches its expiration date, we automatically remove it from our Website and Apps.
This is done to ensure that you have a great all-around experience and do not attempt to use offers which no longer work.

Cashback Facts

There is no fixed cashback rate for each and every product. You will get cashback and each and every order, even if the product value is less than 500! If the product value is more than 5000, one user will be eligible for a full cashback. For example, if you buy a smartphone worth Rs. 10000, you are eligible to get Rs. 10000 as cashback, but the decision on this will be made only after 60 days from the date of purchase. If you are eligible, you will get notification about the cashback 60 days from the date of purchase.
Unfortunately, the cashback process is such that we have to wait for the partner to confirm to us that the purchase was not returned or exchanged. Merchants also use this time to validate that the sale has met conditions for earning of cashback. To learn more about these conditions please ensure to read the Cashback Status section.
We constantly work with stores to reduce this wait period. However, just to be on the safe side we inform you that it may usually take 7 days from 4-8 weeks for a transaction to be confirmed.
Yes, there are stores and offers on which there is no cashback applicable. These (no cashback list) will not carry the GPayBack Cashback label.
If your cashback is cancelled by the retailer, your cashback amount for that transaction will be removed from your pending balance. The status of the transaction will be set to cancelled in your cashback activity page. Store holds sole discretion in determining the validity of a transaction. Unfortunately, once a retailer has made a decision, it is final.
"Pending" means it is not yet confirmed by our partner, you will have to wait atleast 3 days for this to update. If the status is "Approved", you will be the cashback within next 3 days, and after sending the cashback to your Google Pay account, the status will change into "Transferred". If is shows "Declined", your either didn’t placed the order or clicked some other website's link and made the purchase. If the status is showing as "Transaction Failed", this could be due to wrong Google Pay number provided by you. You should contact us to change the Google Pay number into correct one. check full details the Cashback Status page.
Some common reasons why cashback is declined are:
  • The order was cancelled.
  • The order was returned or partially returned.
  • The order was exchanged or partially exchanged.
  • The order was changed.
  • The order was paid for using a gift code or gift voucher.
  • The order was paid for using Cash on Delivery (not applicable for most cases).
  • The order might have been classified as bulk order from a wholesaler or a travel agent etc.
  • The order did not comply with the store's cashback policy. To see details on store specific cashback policy please see 'Useful Tips' section for cashback merchants.
  • Sometimes stores do not provide us any specific reason for declining the cashback. In such cases a Missing Cashback claim can be filed and we will do our best to find the reason for cancellation of the cashback.
Note: The store holds sole discretion in determining the validity of the cashback transaction.

When a missing cashback claim is filed, we follow up with the merchant regarding the status of the sale. We are unable to do so in cases where we do not have a proof of purchase. Therefore we do not accept missing cashback claims in case there is no proof of purchase.
